Until then, it’s worth taking a look at the specs list and comparing the two models. In fact, the small PRX is a more than just a shrunken version of the “original”.
Different case dimensions
I’ve already said it in advance. With a diameter of 35 millimeters, the T137.210.11.081.00 is quite a bit smaller than its sister model. I really admit to testing ladies’ watches only rarely. Visually, however, the small PRX is a timepiece that I really like, although less so on my own wrist. The perfect lady’s watch for summer? That’s where the T137.210.11.081.00 is a hot contender. The PRX 40 205 T137.410.11.091.00, on the other hand, passes for unisex with its 40 millimeters.
The designers have not only changed the diameter, but also the thickness of the case. While the PRX 40 205 was already extremely thin with its 10.30 millimeters, the T137.210.11.081.00 tops this. The retro watch rises just 9.60 millimeters above the case. This fits perfectly with the minimalist tonneau case that characterizes both watches.
Qualitatively on the same level
Speaking of the case. You don’t have to make any compromises here with either of the two watches. That makes sense, after all, both models cost 375 euros. And yes, you would expect THE green tone to be the same. But it is not! At least not with my specimens. While the small PRX stands out because of its rich green, you can see a blue tint in the dial of the big watch. As a result, the shade of green almost passes for ‘aqua’. Perhaps one more clue to guide your decision – if you win!
Finally, let’s take a look at the drive. On the specs list, it’s a digit in the name of the quartz movement that makes the difference. While the T137.410.11.091.00 is driven by an ETA F06.115, the T137.210.11.081.00 is powered by an ETA F05.115. The difference is due to the case sizes.
