“Dear STOWA collector,
today we have two new watches for you. One of them is extremely rare and we do not know if we will be able to present another model with such a movement in the future. The STOWA Flieger 6497 Bronze.
Based on the Unitas 6497 with small second at 9 o’clock, we have built this special watch. Now also in the new bronze pilot’s case in 41 mm. Machined in the typical STOWA vintage style. Limited to only 15 watches worldwide because we have no movements left.
The movements have been provided with Geneva stripes, the STOWA logo is engraved and gold plated. The balance cock is machined, rhodium plated and labeled in-house. The screw balance, which we install, is also getting rarer and rarer. STOWA Aviator 6497 Bronze.
The second watch is now being built in (small) series, with the Unitas 6498 and the small second at 6 o’clock. On request we will be happy to engrave the typical pilot’s watch engraving FL 23883 on the case.
