Cool gray or royal blue? Two new RALF TECH Académie models in bronze. The brand from Paris, which stands for durable professional tool watches, is expanding its collection with the stylish Académie model in a bronze case.
If the Ralf Tech mission timers are too powerful for you or if you are not necessarily a professional diver, the new Académie is a casual, stylish alternative. The model was designed by Frank Huyghe, originally a diver in the French Navy, not as a tool watch but as a tribute to his grandfather. Frank remembered his grandfather’s watches from the late 1960s and early 1970s and designed the Académie collection as a vintage-look alternative to the professional watches in the WRX and WRV collections.
Nevertheless, in true Ralf Tech style, the new model is water-resistant to at least 200m and relies on durability and modern technologies. The 41mm case is made of CuAL8, a special, non-corrosive alloy of copper and aluminum. The glassbox sapphire crystal with a thickness of 2.5mm also allows a clear view of the dial from the side.
Casually cool or regally elegant? Two dial variants make it possible: choose between the cool gray Académie Pirates Shadow version and the elegant royal blue lacquered Académie to find the right solution for your wrist. Both are powered by the proven automatic Seiko NH35. In addition to the calfskin strap, a black silicone strap is also supplied.
The two models are limited to 100 units each and cost 2,200 euros each – to order at watchdavid.shop
